Arts for Health are pleased to be acknowledged as the Visual Art winners of the Waikato Fringe Festival 2019, ‘Make Some Noice Award’ in their inaugural exhibition ‘Thrive’. Formally a dark and dank hallway, Arts for Health’s brand new gallery received a makeover transforming into a light and airy training and educational initiative. The purpose of this new gallery was to support emerging artists as they developed the skills of exhibiting in public.
Manager Cass Hendry describes the award as a great honour and is pleased that the Fringe Festival organisers valued Arts for Health's contribution as a Creative Space. Arts for Health provides a welcoming accessible environment where people can utilise the Arts to empower wellness.
